Morocco, like many Islamic countries bans abortion. One month ago a small Dutch ship came to Morocco with the intention of docking and then taking women who wanted to have abortions out to international waters where they would no longer be subject to Morrocan law, and then administer drugs to cause them to abort.

摩洛哥和好多穆斯林国家已取缔堕胎。一个月之前，一只小荷兰船来摩洛哥为了接应想要打胎的女生，带他们到国际水域，因为摩洛哥的法律对国际水域没有权利。他们到国际水域的时候，那些荷兰人给想要打胎的女生堕胎药，让她们流产。

This Dutch vessel is part of a group in Holland called 'Women on Waves' who have tried similar stunts as this in countries of Europe that have anti-abortion laws including Poland, Ireland and Portugal. In these countries they faced protests by pro-life activists who gathered on the dock to meet them, and in the case of Portugal they were refused permission to enter the port.

这只荷兰船属于一个名叫‘女生在海浪上’的荷兰团体。他们以前去一些禁止堕胎的欧洲国家，包括波兰，爱尔兰和葡萄牙，为了在国际水域给想要堕胎的女生堕胎。当船来的时候，好多反对堕胎的示威者来码头为了反对这个船。甚至在葡萄牙，政府不让他们进入端口。

This is the first time they have gone outside of Europe and visited a Muslim country. When they attempted to dock in Morocco, protestors greeted them on shore and the authorities forced them to leave.

这是他们的第一次去欧洲以外国家，也是他们的第一次去一个穆斯林的国家。当他们到达摩洛哥的码头，示威者来到，然后警察驱赶他们。

In my opinion, this is an information war that is being lost by those on the side of the child's life. Abortion is becoming more available and being used in ever greater numbers as time goes on. Just last month, Uruguay became the second country in Latin America (after Cuba) to legalize abortion in what is otherwise historically a strongly catholic part of the world; now any person in the region who wants an abortion can simply make a trip to Uruguay. Public perceptions in various countries that outlaw abortions are also perhaps shifting in the direction of greater tolerance to it. There are not many places where it seems to be going in the other direction.

我觉得反对堕胎的宣传越来越失败，越多国家允许堕胎，越来越多的地方能找到打胎医生。上个月，在乌拉圭开始允许堕胎，乌拉圭就成为拉丁美洲的第二允许堕胎的国家（第一是古巴）。拉丁美洲大部分是天主教徒，所以历史上他们国家不允许堕胎。但是现在，因为乌拉圭允许堕胎了，所有的南美洲想要打胎的女生可以去那个国家打胎然后回国。好多不允许堕胎国家的老百姓的看法也一直在改变，越来越多人觉得堕胎不是坏事。好像很少地方有相反的情况（即越来越多人觉得堕胎是一件坏事）。

How do we fight this information war?

我们怎么打这个宣传战？

The most important thing we have to do is to pray and ask for God's help.

第一最重要的是我们需要多祈祷而要求天主的帮助。

The second, I think perhaps is that we have to recognize that public perceptions have been formed this way because they have been convinced that the foetus is not a person or at least is very questionably a person. They have been convince because there is much that they don't know. Recognizing this, we need to show them things that they do not know, which allow them to see the Truth. Among these are showing them images of what a foetus looks like under B ultrasound images when he/she can bounce, smile, frown, laugh or even play in the womb. We need to show them how early the brain starts to form (four weeks gestation).

我觉得第二是我们应该明白老百姓有他们的看法是因为他们被说服胎儿不是真的人或者多半不是人。他们被说服，因为他们不知道这方面的知识。我们可以告诉他们好多，让他们知道真理是什么。比如，我们可以给他们看B超检查的录像，让他们看胎儿在跳，胎儿在笑，胎儿有情绪，胎儿在子宫里玩。我们可以告诉他们胎儿的脑子在第四星期已经开始形成。

Also in fighting this information war, we need to explain logic, which people are not recognizing. For example, many people who support abortion will say that they do not know when a life begins (as opposed to setting down a date at which life surely has not begun yet). We can then explain logic to them, which they do not yet recognize, which is that if they do not know when the life begins, then they must not allow the foetus to be aborted for the same reason as why a hunter in the forest doesn't fire his gun if he is not sure if it's a deer or a person that's moving in the distance. This is plainly true if one simply open's ones eyes to what is logical, and we need to try to convince people to open their eyes to this.

我们在这个宣传战也要用合理和逻辑，因为好多人不明白什么是合理的。比如，好多支持允许堕胎的人会说他们不知道生命什么时候开始，什么时候子宫的胎儿成为人（相对于说一个具体时间，在那个时间以前胎儿确定不是人).我们可以多说明他们不明白的逻辑，即如果他们不知道胎儿什么时候有生命他们必须不允许堕胎，因为他们不知道是不是谋杀。他们必须不允许如同一个猎人在森林中不射击他的枪如果他看不清楚是不是他的靶子是鹿还是人。如果老百姓打开眼睛这是显然的，所以我们要多说明。

We also have to recognize another truth that people are ignorant of, which is the degree of suffering that women who have abortions go through as a result of their abortions. There is no small number of women who have had abortions and then quietly suffer for long times, even the rest of their lives, because of the experience and something inside of them telling them that they lost their own child, even if they believed it was not a child. In western countries, people like to assume that this is because of the church malforming people's consciences to feel guilty, and yet here in China the same situation can be found even though the church is barely present. Women have abortions because they do not know that this is true; if they only knew the pain that would fill the rest of their lives because of it, they wouldn't dare to go to the doctor; that is the truth that too many are ignorant of, and we need those who have those experiences to speak up and warn others that this is not a fable.

我们也必须承认好多打了胎的女生以后要承爱很大的痛苦因为她们的流产。她们堕胎以后，安静地受痛苦很长时间，甚至可能一辈子要安静地痛苦，因为她们的心无声地告诉她们，他们杀了他们自己的孩子。即便她们从前不相信这是一个人，即便她们故意不关心他们的经历，她们心还是无声地告诉她们。支持堕胎的人在西方国家经常说是因为教会或者因为信仰的人说这是人，所以女生的良心就给他们痛苦，但是在中国教会很少但是也有好多女生有一样情况。女生有堕胎因为她们不知道这是真生命；但愿她们知道堕胎会给她们的生命带来巨大的痛苦，他们就不敢去找医生堕胎了。她们不知道这确实真的，所以我们需要告诉他们，特别是已经受这个痛苦的女生告诉别的女生这不是一首寓言。

In order to do all of this, in telling the truth to people who do not want to hear it, we need to have courage to speak. We must not let the fact that people will get upset with us to stop us from telling them the truth they need to hear. It is because of ignorance that all of this, like racism to Africans, is able to exist- if we who have knowledge do not tell those who do not have it though, then we are guilty of the crime that is committed.

我们勇敢地告诉别人真理。我们决不能不说为了别人生气的原因。这些存在因为无知的原因，如果我们有知识的人不给无知的人说，我们也跟他们谋杀胎儿。

Ezekiel 3：18-22

18 When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. 19 Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

20 “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. 21 Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul.”

22 Then the hand of the Lord was upon me there, and He said to me, “Arise, go out into the plain, and there I shall talk with you.”

厄则克耳

3:18 几时我向恶人说：你必丧亡!你若不警告他，也不宣讲，使恶人知所警惕，而脱离邪道，为得生存；那恶人要因自己的罪恶而丧亡，但我必向你追讨血债。

3:19 你若警告了恶人，而他不肯离开罪恶和邪道，那他必要因自己的罪恶而丧亡；至于你却救了你的灵魂。

Lord, we pray for an end to abortion everywhere. We pray that the church and all who want to save the lives of the child in the womb be given all the help they need to get their message across successfully to an ignorant society.
