 “Butthere will come a great warrior from the North carrying a banner and on theright hand that supports it is written “The Irresistible Hand of the Lord”. Atthat very moment there went out to meet him the Venerable Old Man of Lazio,holding aloft a brilliantly glowing torch.

 “Butmy wise men have now fled and My law is even now trampled under foot.

Therefore I will make a fourth visit.Woe to you if my Law shall still be considered as empty words.

There will be deceit and falsehoodamongst both the learned and the ignorant.

有学问的人和无学问的人之间，都会有欺骗和谎言。

Your blood and that of your childrenwill wash away your stains upon God's law.

War, pestilence, famine are the rods toscourge men's pride and wickedness. O wealthy men, where is your glory now,your estates, your palaces?

战争、瘟疫、饥荒都是惩罚人的骄傲和邪恶的鞭子。你们富足的人哪，你们的荣耀，你们的产业，你们的宫殿，如今在哪里呢？

They are the rubble on the highways andbyways.”

 “Andyou priests, why have you not run to cry between the vestibule and the altarbegging God to end these scourges?

Why have you not, with the shield offaith, gone upon the housetops into the houses along the highways and byways,into every accessible corner to carry the seed of my word?

 “Thesethings must come one after another. They are inexorable. Things are happeningtoo slowly.

But the august Queen of Heaven ispresent.

The power of the Lord is in His hands.

He scatters His enemies as a cloud.

The Venerable Old man attires himself inall his ancient raiment.

There will come again a violenthurricane. Iniquity is consummated.

Sin will have its end. And before twofull moons of the month of the flowers will have run their course, the rainbowof peace will rise above the earth.

The Great Minister will see the bride ofhis King arrayed in a festive fashion.

At that moment there was seen a host ofmen and women,of young and old, of nuns, monks and priests with the Holy Fatherat the head.

They were going out from the Vatican andwere arranging themselves in line for a procession.

Then came a furious storm which cloudedthat light somewhat and made it appear that light and darkness were engaged ina battle.

In the meantime they arrived at a littlesquare covered with dead and wounded, some of whom cried aloud and asked forhelp.

Very many were dropping out of the lineof procession. After having walked for a time that would correspond to twohundred risings of the sun (200 days) they all realized that they were nolonger in Rome.

Struck with fear they all ran to theHoly Father to defend him personally and to attend to his wants. Your enemies are dispersed.

他们惊恐万分，都跑到教宗那里亲自保护他，照顾他的需要。立刻看见两个天使拿着旗子。他们把旗子献给了教宗说：『请接受那能争战、能驱散天下众军之人的旗子。　』你的敌人被驱散了。

Your children with tears and sighs begyou to return. Looking at the banner one could see written on one side ‘Queenconceived without sin’; and other the other side ‘Help of Christians’.

你的孩子们带着泪水和叹息恳求你回来。看着旗帜，我们可以看到旗帜的一边写着“圣母始胎无染原罪”，另一边写着“基督徒的帮助”。

The Holy Father joyfully took thebanner,but looking closely at the small number of those who remained with him,he became very sad.

教宗高高兴兴地接过旗子，但细看跟随他的人不多，就甚忧愁。

The two angels added ‘Go quickly toconsole your children.

两位天使又说：『快去安慰你的孩子。

Write your brothers dispersed throughoutthe world that there must be a reform in the morals of men.

写信给你们分散在世界各地的弟兄们，告诉他们必须对人类的道德进行改革。

That cannot be obtained except bydistributing to the people the bread of the Divine Word.

（但）只有把上主话语的粮食分给百姓后，才能得着（道德改革）。

Catechise the children. Preach thedetaching of the heart from the things that are of the earth.

教导孩子。传讲人心与地上万物的分离（不着像）。

 ‘Thetime has come’ concluded the two angels‘when the poor shall evangelise thepeople.

两位天使说：『穷人给人民传道的时候到了。　』

Vocations will come from among thoseworking with the spade, the axe and the hammer to the end that they fulfil thewords of David: God has raised up the poor from the land in order to place themon the thrones of the princes of His people.

那些用铁锨，斧子，锤子工作的人，必发出召唤，好成就达味的话说，天主已将困苦人从国中兴起，使他们坐在自己百姓首领的位上。

Having heard that the Holy Father beganthe march.

听到这个消息后，教宗开始前行。

The farther he went the greater did theprocession behind increase.

他走得越远，后面的队伍就越庞大。

When finally he set foot in the HolyCity, he wept bitter tears for the distress in which he found the people andthe large number now missing.

当他终于踏上圣城的时候，他哭了起来，因为他发现那里的人和大量失踪的人陷入困境。

As he entered St Peter’s he intoned the‘Te Deum’ to which a choir of angels replied singing: ‘Glory to God in thehighest and on earth peace to men of good will’.

With the ending of the hymn there camean end to the thick darkness and the sun shone with a brightness all its own.

The cities, towns and villages werethinly populated.

The land had been levelled down as if bya hurricane, by a tempest and a hail storm.

People went from one to another sayingin tones of great emotion: ‘There is a God in Israel.’
