Jeremiah 1 That same year, in (the beginning of) the reign of Zedekiah, king of Judah, in the fifth month of the fourth year, the prophet Hananiah, son of Azzur, from Gibeon, said to me in the house of the LORD in the presence of the priests and all the people: 2 ＂Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: 'I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon. 万军的上主，以色列的天主这样说：我已折断了巴比伦王的轭。 3 Within two years I will restore to this place all the vessels of the temple of the LORD which Nebuchadnezzar, king of 还有两年，我就要取回巴比伦王拿步高，由这地方取去，带往巴比伦的一切上主殿宇的器皿，再放在这地方， 4 And I will bring back to this place Jeconiah, son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the exiles of Judah who went to Babylon,' says the LORD. 'for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.'＂ 且领回犹大王约雅金的儿子耶苛尼雅及一切流徙至巴比伦的犹大俘虏，再来到这地方──上主的断语──因为我要折断巴比伦王的轭。＂ 5 The prophet Jeremiah answered the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests and all the people assembled in the house of the LORD, 6 and said: Amen! thus may the LORD do! May he fulfill the things you have prophesied by bringing the vessels of the house of the LORD and all the exiles back from 耶肋米亚先知说：＂盼望是这样！惟愿上主这样做！惟愿上主实践你预言的话，使上主殿宇的器皿和一切俘虏，从巴比伦再回到这地方来！ 7 But now, listen to what I am about to state in your hearing and the hearing of all the people. 不过请听我当面愿对你和全体人民要说的这一句话： 8 From of old, the prophets who were before you and me prophesied war, woe, and pestilence against many lands and mighty kingdoms. 自古以来，在我和你以前的先知，对多少地区和强盛的王国，曾预言过战争，饥馑和瘟疫。 9 But the prophet who prophesies peace is recognized as truly sent by the LORD only when his prophetic prediction is fulfilled. 至于预言和平的先知，只在这先知的话实现以后，才可认出这先知确是上主派遣的。 10 Thereupon the prophet Hananiah took the yoke from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, broke it, 哈纳尼雅先知便从耶肋米亚先知颈上取下木轭，折断了， 11 and said in the presence of all the people: ＂Thus says the LORD: 'Even so, within two years I will break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, from off the neck of all the nations.'＂ At that, the prophet Jeremiah went away. 然后对全体人民说：＂上主这样说：还有两年，我就要这样从一切民族的颈上，折断巴比伦王拿步高的轭。＂于是耶肋米亚先知只得自行离去。 12 Some time after the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah: 哈纳尼雅先知从耶肋米亚先知颈上取下木轭折断以后，即有上主的话传给耶肋米亚说：＂ 13 Go tell Hananiah this: Thus says the LORD: By breaking a wooden yoke, you forge an iron yoke! 14 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: A yoke of iron I will place on the necks of all these nations serving Nebuchadnezzar, king of 因为万军的上主，以色列的天主这样说：我要将铁轭放在这一切民族的颈上，使他们服事拿步高巴比伦王；他们该服事他，因为连田野的走兽我也交给了他。＂ 15 To the prophet Hananiah the prophet Jeremiah said: Hear this, Hananiah! The LORD has not sent you, and you have raised false confidence in this people. 耶肋米亚先知于是对哈纳尼雅先知说：＂哈纳尼雅！请听，上主并没有派遣你，你竟使这人民相信谎言。 16 For this, says the LORD, I will dispatch you from the face of the earth; this very year you shall die, because you have preached rebellion against the LORD. 为此，上主这样说：看，我要把你赶出地面；今年你必要死，因为你说了背叛上主的话。＂ 17 That same year, in the seventh month, Hananiah the prophet died. 哈纳尼雅先知就死在那年七月。 |
