Isaiah 1 Hear this, O house of Jacob called by the name 雅各伯家请听这话：──你们以以色列的名字自称，出自犹大之后，奉上主的名字起誓，又称扬＂以色列的天主，＂但都不是出自诚心诚意； 2 Though you are named after the holy city and rely on the God of Israel, whose name is the LORD of hosts. 3 Things of the past I foretold long ago, they went forth from my mouth, I let you hear of them; then suddenly I took action and they came to be. ＂那过去的事，我早就预言过了，由我口中所发出的，也叫人听见了；转瞬间我行了那事，那事也就成就了。 4 Because I know that you are stubborn and that your neck is an iron sinew and your forehead bronze, 因为我知道你是顽固的，你的颈项似铁杠，你的额是铜制的， 5 I foretold them to you of old; before they took place I let you hear of them, That you might not say, ＂My idol did them, my statue, my molten image commanded them.＂ 为此我早就告诉了你，在事未发生之前我就向你说明了，免得你说：＂是我的神像行了这事，是我雕刻铸成的神像命定了这事。＂ 免得你说：＂看，我早就知道了！＂ 6 Now that you have heard, look at all this; must you not admit it? From now on I announce new things to you, hidden events of which you knew not. 你既听见了，也看见了这一切，难道你们不该作证吗？如今我要宣布新事，即你不知的隐密事。 7 Now, not long ago, they are brought into being, and beforetime you did not hear of them, so that you cannot claim to have known them; 这些事是现今而不是从前造成的，是今日之前你从没有听说过的， 8 You neither heard nor knew, they did not reach your ears beforehand. Yes, I know you are utterly treacherous, a rebel you were called from birth. 你从来没有听过，也不知道，也是你的耳朵闻所未闻的。因为我知道你好背信叛逆，你实在可称为「胎生的叛徒。」 9 For the sake of my name I restrain my anger, for the sake of my renown I hold it back from you, lest I should destroy you. 但是为了我名的缘故，我暂缓发怒；为了我荣誉的缘故，我抑制了我自己，而没有消灭你。 10 See, I have refined you like silver, tested you in the furnace of affliction. 看啊！我只是锻炼了你，有如银子，在患难的炉中磨炼了你。
11 For my sake, for my own sake, I do this; why should I suffer profanation? My glory I will not give to another. 为了我自己，为了我自己的缘故，我必要去行。我岂能让我的名字受亵渎？我决不将我的光荣让与别人。＂ 12 Listen to me, 雅各伯啊！我所召叫的以色列啊！你听我说：我就是那位，我是元始，我也是终末。 13 Yes, my hand laid the foundations of the earth; my right hand spread out the heavens. When I call them, they stand forth at once. 我的手奠定了大地，我的右手展开了诸天；我一叫它们，它们就一同出现。 14 1 All of you assemble and listen: Who among you foretold these things? The LORD'S friend shall do his will against 你们都集合起来听罢！邪神中有谁预言了这事呢？＂我所爱的，必实行我的旨意：攻击巴比伦和加色丁的苗裔。＂ 15 I myself have spoken, I have called him, I have brought him, and his way succeeds! 只有我，只有我预言了这事，召叫了他，引导了他，使他所行的道路顺利。 16 2 Come near to me and hear this! Not from the beginning did I speak it in secret; At the time it comes to pass, I am present: ＂Now the Lord GOD has sent me, and his spirit.＂ 你们走近我前，听这话罢！我从起初就没有在暗处说过话，从实现之时起，我就在那里。我上主现在即要施行救援。 17 Thus says the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I, the LORD, your God, teach you what is for your good, and lead you on the way you should go. 你的救主上主，以色列的圣者这样说：＂我是上主你的天主，教训你为你有益的事，引你走当走的道路。 18 If you would hearken to my commandments, your prosperity would be like a river, and your vindication like the waves of the sea; 恨不得你一向听从我的命令！那么你的安乐将似江河，你的幸福将似海涛； 19 Your descendants would be like the sand, and those born of your stock like its grains, Their name never cut off or blotted out from my presence. 你的子孙多如海沙，出于你身的苗裔多似沙粒；你的名字在我前决不会抹去，也决不会被删除。＂ 20 Go forth from 21 They did not thirst when he led them through dry lands; Water from the rock he set flowing for them; he cleft the rock, and waters welled forth.＂ 当上主率领他们过旷野时，他们并不觉渴，因为他使水由岩石中流出给他们喝；他分开了岩石，水就涌流出来。 22 (There is no peace for the wicked, says the LORD.) 上主说：恶人决无平安！ Footnotes(注解) 1 [14] The LORD's friend: Cyrus, who carries out God's plans. 2 [16] ＂Now the Lord . . . spirit＂: said by Cyrus; cf Isaiah 48:14. |
