Leviticus 1 1 During this time Aaron's sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers and, strewing incense on the fire they had put in them, they offered up before the LORD profane fire, such as he had not authorized. 亚郎的儿子纳达布和阿彼胡，各自取了火盘，放上火，加上乳香，在上主面前奉献了上主所禁止的凡火。 2 2 Fire therefore came forth from the LORD'S presence and consumed them, so that they died in his presence. 那时由上主面前喷出火来，将他们烧死在上主面前。 3 3 Moses then said to Aaron, ＂This is as the LORD said: Through those who approach me I will manifest my sacredness; In the sight of all the people I will reveal my glory.＂ But Aaron said nothing. 梅瑟遂对亚郎说：＂这就是上主所说：对亲近我的人，我要显我为圣；在全民众前我要以我为尊。＂亚郎默不作声。 4 Then Moses summoned Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Aaron's uncle Uzziel, with the order, ＂Come, remove your kinsmen from the sanctuary and carry them to a place outside the camp.＂ 梅瑟遂叫了亚郎的叔父乌齐耳的儿子米沙耳和厄耳匝番来，对他们说：＂前来，将你们的兄弟由圣所前抬到营外去！＂ 5 4 So they went in and took them, in their tunics, outside the camp, as Moses had commanded. 他们就前去，抓住死者的衣服，将死者抬到营外，照梅瑟所吩咐的。 6 5 Moses said to Aaron and his sons Eleazar and Ithamar, ＂Do not bare your heads or tear your garments, lest you bring not only death on yourselves but God's wrath also on the whole community. Your kinsmen, the rest of the house of 以后，梅瑟对亚郎和他的儿子厄肋阿匝尔及依塔玛尔说：＂不要散开你们的头发，不要撕裂你们的衣服，免得你们死亡，也免得上主对全会众发怒；让你们的弟兄以色列全家，去为上主燃起的火哀悼。 7 but do not you go beyond the entry of the meeting tent, else you shall die; for the anointing oil of the LORD is upon you.＂ So they did as Moses told them. 你们也不要走出会幕门口，免得你们死亡，因为上主的傅油还在你们身上。＂他们就照梅瑟说的做了。 上主训示亚郎说：＂ 9 ＂When you are to go to the meeting tent, you and your sons are forbidden under pain of death, by a perpetual ordinance throughout your generations, to drink any wine or strong drink. 你或你的儿子进入会幕时，清酒或醇酒都不可饮，免得你们死亡：这为你们世世代代是一条永久的法令。 10 You must be able to distinguish between what is sacred and what is profane, between what is clean and what is unclean; 因为在圣与俗，洁与不洁之间，你们应分辨清楚， 11 you must teach the Israelites all the laws that the LORD has given them through Moses.＂ 并应教训以色列子民，上主借梅瑟吩咐他们的一切法令。＂ 12 Moses said to Aaron and his surviving sons, Eleazar and Ithamar, ＂Take the cereal offering left over from the oblations of the LORD, and eat it beside the altar in the form of unleavened cakes. Since it is most sacred, 以后，梅瑟对亚郎和他尚存的儿子厄肋阿匝尔及依塔玛尔说：＂献与上主的火祭中所剩下的素祭祭品，你们应拿来在祭坛旁吃，应吃死面的，因为这是至圣之物。 13 you must eat it in a sacred place. This is your due from the oblations of the LORD, and that of your sons; such is the command I have received. 你们在圣处吃，因为这是你和你的儿子，由献与上主的火祭中，所获得的权利；上主曾这样吩咐了我。 14 With your sons and daughters you shall also eat the breast of the wave offering and the leg of the raised offering, in a clean place; for these have been assigned to you and your children as your due from the peace offerings of the Israelites. 至于摇过的胸脯和举过的后腿，你和你的儿子以及与你尚在一起的女儿，可在一清洁地方吃；这原是由以色列子民献的和平祭中，给予你和你子女的权利。 15 The leg of the raised offering and the breast of the wave offering shall first be brought in with the oblations, the fatty portions, that are to be waved as a wave offering before the LORD. Then they shall belong to you and your children by a perpetual ordinance, as the LORD has commanded.＂ 与献作火祭的脂肪一起所举过的后腿和摇过的胸脯，在上主面前行过奉献摇礼之后，都归你和与你在一起的子女：这是你们永久的权利，照上主所吩咐的。＂ 16 6 When Moses inquired about the goat of the sin offering, he discovered that it had all been burned. So he was angry with the surviving sons of Aaron, Eleazar and Ithamar, and said, 梅瑟寻找那作赎罪祭的公山羊的时候，发现已经烧了；于是对亚郎尚存的儿子厄肋阿匝尔及依塔玛尔发怒说： 17 ＂Why did you not eat the sin offering in the sacred place, since it is most sacred? It has been given to you that you might bear the guilt of the community and make atonement for them before the LORD. ＂为什么你们没有在圣处吃这赎罪祭祭肉？这原是至圣之物；上主所以给了你们，是为消除会众的罪过，在上主面前为他们赎罪。 18 If its blood was not brought into the inmost part of the sanctuary, you should certainly have eaten the offering in the sanctuary, in keeping with the command I had received.＂ 这牺牲的血既然没有带到圣所里去，你们应照我所吩咐的，在圣处吃这祭肉。＂ 19 Aaron answered Moses, ＂Even though they presented their sin offering and holocaust before the LORD today, yet this misfortune has befallen me. Had I then eaten of the sin offering today, would it have been pleasing to the LORD?＂ 亚郎对梅瑟说：＂你看，他们今天在上主面前奉献了赎罪祭和全燔祭，竟有这样的事发生在我身上！我今天若吃赎罪祭祭肉，上主岂能满意？＂ 20 On hearing this, Moses was satisfied. 梅瑟听了这话，也颇为满意。 Footnotes(注解) 1 [1] Nadab and Abihu: the older sons of Aaron. Some interpreters, however, understand it as the cutting off of one's hair, which ordinarily all the Israelites, men as well as women, let grow long. Cf Isaiah 15:2; Jeremiah 7:29. Still others understand the verb to mean ＂to let one's hair hang loose and wild.＂ Cf Lev 13:45; 21:10, where the same phrase is used. 6 [16-19] Eleazar and Ithamar burned the entire goat of the sin offering (Lev 9:15) instead of eating it in a sacred place (Lev 6:19) to bear the guilt of the community. Aaron defends this action of his sons against Moses' displeasure by implying that they did not have sufficient sanctity to eat the flesh of the victim and thus perform the expiation of the people. They themselves still labored under the blow of the divine anger which struck their brothers Nadab and Abihu. |
