Jonah 1 But the LORD sent a large fish, that swallowed Jonah; and he remained in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. 上主安排了一条大鱼，吞了约纳；约纳在鱼腹里，三天三夜。 2 From the belly of the fish Jonah said this prayer to the LORD, his God: 约纳从鱼腹里，祈求上主，他的天主。 3 Out of my distress I called to the LORD, and he answered me; From the midst of the nether world I cried for help, and you heard my voice. 他说：＂我在患难中，呼求上主，他便应允了我，我从阴府的深处呼求，你便俯听了我的呼声。 4 For you cast me into the deep, into the heart of the sea, and the flood enveloped me; All your breakers and your billows passed over me. 你将我拋入海心深处，大水包围了我；你的波涛和巨浪漫过了我。 5 Then I said, ＂I am banished from your sight! yet would I again look upon your holy temple.＂ 我曾说：我虽从你面前被拋弃，但我仍要瞻仰你的圣殿。 6 The waters swirled about me, threatening my life; the abyss enveloped me; seaweed clung about my head. 大水围困我，危及我的性命；深渊包围我，海草缠住我的头。 7 Down I went to the roots of the mountains; the bars of the nether world were closing behind me forever, But you brought my life up from the pit, O LORD, my God. 我下沉直到礁底，大地的门闩永为我关闭。上主，我的天主！你却从坑里救出了我的性命。 8 When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD; My prayer reached you in your holy temple. 当我奄奄一息时，我记起了上主；我的祈祷达于你前，达于你的圣殿中。 9 Those who worship vain idols forsake their source of mercy. 敬奉虚无偶像的人，实在是舍弃了慈爱的根源。 10 But I, with resounding praise, will sacrifice to you; What I have vowed I will pay: deliverance is from the LORD. 至于我，我要在颂谢的歌声中，向你献祭，偿还我许的誓愿。救恩属于上主！＂ 11 Then the LORD commanded the fish to spew Jonah upon the shore. |
