Zechariah 1 Then the angel who spoke with me returned and awakened me, like a man awakened from his sleep. 那与我谈话的使者又来唤醒我，如唤醒梦中人一样； 2 ＂What do you see?＂ he asked me. ＂I see a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl at the top,＂ I replied; ＂on it are seven lamps with their tubes, 他问我说：＂你看见了什么？＂我回答说：＂我看见，啊！一座纯金的灯台，顶上有一个油壶和七盏灯，顶端那七盏灯具有七条导管。 3 and beside it are two olive trees, one on the right and the other on the left.＂ 而灯台两旁有两棵橄榄树，一左一右。 4 Then I said to the angel who spoke with me, ＂What are these things, my lord?＂ 我便问那与我谈话的使者说：＂我主，这是什么意思？＂ 5 And the angel who spoke with me replied, ＂Do you not know what these things are?＂ ＂No, my lord,＂ I answered. 那与我谈话的使者回答我说：＂你不知道这是什么意思吗？＂我说：＂我主，不知道。＂ 6 Then he said to me, ＂This is the LORD'S message to Zerubbabel: Not by an army, nor by might, but by my spirit, says the LORD of hosts. 他向我说：＂这是雅威说的有关则鲁巴贝耳的话：「不是靠权势，不是靠能力，而是靠我的神能。」 7 1 What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you are but a plain. He shall bring out the capstone amid exclamations of 'Hail, Hail' to it.＂ 巍峨的群山，你算什么？你们在则鲁巴贝耳前，不过如平地罢了在人们祝福与欢呼声中，他要将完成前的最后一块石头迭上去。 8 This word of the LORD then came to me: 雅威的话传给我说： 9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundations of this house, and his hands shall finish it; then you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. 「则鲁巴贝耳的手奠定这圣殿的基础，他的手也将完成这工程。（那么你们便会知道，是万军之主雅威派我来的。） 10 For even they who were scornful on that day of small beginnings shall rejoice to see the select stone in the hands of Zerubbabel. These seven facets are the eyes of the LORD that range over the whole earth. 或许一开始这事看起来微小，但等你们看见则鲁巴贝耳手中迭上的最后一块石头时，就该欢呼喜悦了。」这七盏灯就是那遍察全地的上主的眼睛，＂ 11 I then asked him, ＂What are these two olive trees at each side of the lampstand?＂ 12 And again I asked, ＂What are the two olive tufts which freely pour out fresh oil through the two golden channels?＂ 我再问他说：＂这两根经两个金管流出黄金色油的橄榄树枝，是什么意思？＂ 13 ＂Do you not know what these are?＂ he said to me. ＂No, my lord,＂ I answered him. 14 He said, ＂These are the two anointed 2 who stand by the LORD of the whole earth.＂ 他说：＂这是侍立在全地的主宰面前的两位受傅者。＂ Footnotes（注解） 1 [7] Great mountain: figure of the obstacles confronting Zerubbabel in building the temple. A plain: figure of the ease with which he will overcome these obstacles. 2 [14] The two anointed: literally, ＂the two sons of oil,＂ Joshua, the anointed high priest, and Zerubbabel, the anointed prince. Just as the two olive trees in this imagery supply the sacred seven-branched lampstand (Exodus 25:31-40) with oil (Zechariah 4:12), so these two men, in ministering to the community, stand by (serve) the Lord. |
