Hosea 1 1 When 2 The more I called them, the farther they went from me, Sacrificing to the Baals and burning incense to idols. 可是我越呼唤他们，他们越远离我，去给巴耳献祭，向偶像进香。 3 Yet it was I who taught Ephraim to walk, who took them in my arms; 是我教了厄弗辣因迈步，双臂抱着他们，但他们却不理会是我照顾了他们。 4 2 I drew them with human cords, with bands of love; I fostered them like one who raises an infant to his cheeks; Yet, though I stooped to feed my child, they did not know that I was their healer. 是我用仁慈的绳索，用爱情的带子牵着他们，我对他们有如高举婴儿到自己面颊的慈亲，俯身喂养他们。 5 He shall return to the 他们却要返回埃及，要亚述作他们的君王，因为他们拒绝归依我。 6 The sword shall begin with his cities and end by consuming his solitudes. Because they refused to repent, their own counsels shall devour them. 刀剑必要在他们的城中横行，杀绝他们的子女，在他们的堡垒中吞噬他们。 7 His people are in suspense about returning to him; and God, though in unison they cry out to him, shall not raise them up. 我的百姓因着自己的叛逆使我厌烦了；为此上主给他们指定了应负的重轭，因为衪已不再怜惜他们。 8 3 How could I give you up, O Ephraim, or deliver you up, O Israel? How could I treat you as Admah, or make you like Zeboiim?
